At Norrheim, we want to make it easy to choose the right product: safer, more sustainable, and thoughtfully designed home products. We are a family-run business that believes in transparency, quality, and design made to last.
We develop our products with inspiration from Nordic design and manufacture them through carefully selected suppliers in Asia, including Japan, China, and Taiwan. All of our products are developed in close collaboration with our manufacturers and are based on specifications, materials, and requirements defined by us. This means they are not standard off-the-shelf products and cannot be found as cheap copies. Many established brands manufacture in the same regions; the difference is that we work with a shorter and more direct supply chain. This reduces the number of intermediaries and allows us to focus more on material selection, functionality, quality, and control.
We are constantly working to improve both our products and the documentation that accompanies them. Whenever possible, we strengthen our testing, certifications, and documentation so that you can clearly see which materials are used, what the product contains, and where it is made. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible and to offer high-quality products supported by relevant testing. We are not perfect, but we are transparent about how our products are developed and continuously work to improve.
In some cases, delivery times may be slightly longer because production takes place in Asia. We always communicate our delivery times clearly and hope you appreciate that we prioritize thoughtful choices over the fastest possible delivery. At the same time, we regularly carry out checks on our suppliers, including working conditions and manufacturing standards.
